Open Question: Can a myspace musician account help me get established?

My plan is to receive some voice lessons and piano lessons. Then I will write some tunes and receive the copyright ownership for them. Then I was thinking about creating a myspace musician account to post my music. Do you think this is a good plan to try and receive started and receive myself an established fan base? I would like to keep going after that point and possibly shoot for American Idol or even just start auditioning at record labels across the country. Advise, comments, concerns? Thank you for your time. It is very much appreciated. Well this could go for both Facebook and Myspace. I could create an account on both sites. i can play the piano i taught myself, i just dont know how to write it down. i can write lyrics too, i just want to better my voice so i can be the best i can be. thank you

Open Question: Why are you sick of American Idol?

Two things that keep getting on my nerves about the show: 1) They allow unlimited voting for two hours instead of limiting the number of votes per telephone. This seems to make it very unfair and significantly influence the outcome. 2) It seems like the show has turned into a screaming contest. I hardly care for the tune choices anymore. Dancing with the Stars actually beat out American Idol in the ratings last year. They have better music and they limit the voting per telephone to ten calls. Would better tune choices and limiting votes per telephone make the show better? Would anyone like to comment on these concerns?

Open Question: How can i have higher self esteem - about appearance?

In my opinion, i'm ugly. I give myself a 3 out of 10 about how much i'm cute. My brothers calls me ugly and gay (although i'm straight). My first adore (i fell in adore quick but she has a bf) told her bf that i'm a freak and a nerd (it nice of true i never got less than 50marks in exams). I have curly hair and my face is full of acne, acne scars and 4 beauty spots. I'm very thin but my body is full of beauty spots. On my right arm, i have about 12 beauty spots so i never wear t shirts without sleeves. I'm trying my best to receive rid of everything to receive me cute but nothing is working ( i don't want to have surgery) . I fall in depression when i look in the mirror or at my skin. I'm going to be a singer (i'm the guide singer of a punk/pop/ power pop rock band) in a month and my appearance is keeping me back from my career. Once i heard that a girl entered American Idol, she had a perfect voice but they eliminated her becuase the judges said she wasn't pretty enough. Is this going to happen to me to? Sry, i had to write a lot.

ok that show was awesome tonight made me rewind and watch back a couple acts alot of acts that i thought were good in the last show but i didn't think that there was anymore that they could bring to the table wow how wrong was I here's my top five fighting gravity- they came closer to the crowd anddidn'ttreveale anything and added alot more new stuff they have the potential to take the whole show Opera Girl- yeah 10 yrs old and a voice like that shes a prodigy I think she can go every the way to, so much so that i actualldintnt want her to win the show cause she is ganna make it big without it show let the other guys receive the chance. I pierced my nose like a year ago, and I was wearing this stud for forever, so I got this tiny nose ring. And I like it! So, yeah, I was visiting some people from Europe, and they told me that the actual "ring" especially in the nose has a satanic background/meaning/purpose, and people who worship the devil wear it! (Yes I believe that they should be HIGHLY respected. However, it seems to have gone beyond that). I saw one lady drink from the pool close the washington Memorial. (She had a very religious experience). 4. hear I AM NOT A TEA PARTIER. I AM A Black GUY FROM THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN! I have lived on the East coast and in Maryland every of my life. This is the first time I have seen so many white people with odd southern accents and stereotypical southern....style (overalls, American flag collared shirts, straw hats with red hankerchiefs, redneck pride attire and etc). I am really trying to understand this experience from another perspective.

Open Question: how do i sort all these future options out ?

ok, so my pal recently told me about the army, and how they pay for almost everything, and since i arrive from no money at every, i think its great for me. but heres the thing. i want to study psychology but i wanna make sure that after the service, i can still leave and make $$$$ to support myself. i wanted to receive my two years done of college here first. by here, i mean normal go to college, with college dorms and every. BUT i dont know what school options are good for that, and by good i mean BEST. also, i REALLY want to join america's next top model. its something ive always wanted to do, and everyone says i should because i have potential and ive been studying it and trying it out a bit. so i wanted to do that. but i also want to try american idol. YES, i know. the possibilities of me winning, are alim. but i do have the talent for it, and its something thats worth a shot. supposedly i could do it when im 16, but i dont want to do it toooo young. and ALSO, i wanted to do it after i have my college done. but i dont want to take forever, and then do it. because of age. i wanna do it young. AND, i wanna marry around 24 or something. and i wanna have my first child around like 25, 26. i REALLY want that. but idk how to sort it every out. idk which comes first, or second, or last -______- if anyone has any suggestions, or a way to fit every of this, please help me. and especially if you have a school thats reallly good to study for my two basic years of college, or if i shouldnt do the army, or any other options ? pleaseeee, and thanks .

The military has a yearly american idol style singing competition called operation rising star and I made it into the finals for our installation. I have to find a popular, upbeat tune to sing and I need to learn it by three weeks from now. I can do a wide variety of genres - country rock pop blues. Or just about anything else. Resolved Question: I'm trying to remember an America's Got talent / American Idol contestant?

Ok so, I don't know the year, name of the man, name of the tune, or what show he was on.. I know I liked his style of singing.. He was nice of a "fluffy" white man and for some reason I remember him wearing a cap alot with maybe curlyish dark hair? His style of singing was nice of... instead of saying "don't" it was "don" you know what I mean? and nice of smooth like "Jason Mraz -I'm Yours" or something.. for some reason "Moon" comes to mind? I know one of the judges said that he liked HIS version of THAT tune better!... please.. help me narrow it down with these few facts I have.. could you tell me names of fluffy male contestants with a smooth slang-ish singing style that may have worn a cap or one of those vest things?
